Assembly Book Club with Eylül Görmüş

13 November 2024

Assembly Book Club with Eylül Görmüş on Monday, November 18, at Assembly Ferko Signature The Hall! Tickets available on Plandy!

Join us for our new event series, where we spotlight a different author each time, gathering in Assembly Buildings’ The Hall. Tickets can be found on plandy.me and in the links on our Instagram stories.

In the second event of our series, we meet with the legendary figure of Latin American literature, Gabriel García Márquez. Awarded the 1982 Nobel Prize in Literature for his “rich and complex worlds that masterfully blend reality and imagination,” Márquez is one of the foremost representatives of magical realism. Skillfully weaving his personal life and the cultural and social fabric of his homeland into his works, Márquez continues to captivate millions with his storytelling, which combines collective memory and individual narratives.

This event is open to everyone.
